Lilliput Infant School

O n behalf of our staff and governors, I would like to welcome you and your children to Lilliput C.E. Infant School. This prospectus aims to help you understand what we offer at Lilliput Infant School. I am extremely proud to lead the team at Lilliput who are committed to providing our children with the very best education possible. We are proud of our “outstanding” church school (OFSTED May 2009, SIAMS 2019) and its warm, friendly and caring atmosphere, the range of opportunities we are able to offer the children and of the many successes we achieve together. We believe that these early years in a child’s life are the most important and certainly the most exciting. We strive to create a centre of excellence where everyone feels valued, safe and happy to learn, underpinned by our Christian values. We are always delighted to show parents and children around and welcome new families to our community. The success of the partnership we have with our parents is very important to us. If you would like to visit the school, then please see the available dates on our website at www.lilliput.poole.sch.uk We became part of a larger Multi Academy Trust on 1st March 2020 when three like-minded Trusts decided to combine their strengths, resources, talent and expertise. The three original ‘founding trusts’ – Harbourside Learning Partnership, Ocean Learning Trust and Saturn Education Trust – now exist as a single, wide family of 16 schools, working in close partnership for the benefit of its 5,500 pupils. This has allowed us to spread expertise across the sixteen schools and to ensure that we are contributing to outstanding education across the local area. We look forward to welcoming you.
