Jewellery and Make Up We do not encourage the wearing of any jewellery. However, if stud earrings are worn, these must be removed for P.E. by your child for safety reasons. Please be aware that if ears are pierced during term time, they will still need to remove the earrings before taking part in P.E. No other jewellery, nail varnish or inappropriate hair accessories should be worn at school with the exception of a watch. Lost Property Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name so that any lost items can be returned. The lost property box is located in the front entrance of the school. Personal Articles The school cannot take responsibility for the loss of or personal damage to personal articles or valuables. Therefore, please discourage your child from bringing his/her most treasured possessions to school. Unfortunately they may get lost or broken and the once proud owner becomes very distressed. Jewellery and watches can present a particular problem and in many instances are safer left at home.
