Wimborne First School Prospectus

Learning for Life Wimborne First School O n behalf of our staff and governors I would like to welcome you and your children to Wimborne First School. This prospectus has been written to give you a flavour of what we offer at Wimborne First School. It is a magical place which has a ‘special feel’ to it because of our caring, friendly atmosphere. We strive for high expectations and will work with individual children and families to meet their full potential. We hope it helps you gain an understanding of how our school is organised, and to appreciate the exciting opportunities on offer to children in our care. The school continues to develop in many exciting ways, providing an even more enriching experience for our pupils. I am extremely proud to lead a team that is so committed to providing the very best opportunities for the children who attend Wimborne First School. Staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare children for future education; and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to pursue learning for the rest of their lives. A telephone call to the school office on 01202 882532 is all that is needed to arrange this. Wimborne First School will be relocating to a new site from September 2019. It will be approximately 800 metres from the current school on the Cranborne Road. The school will have state of the art facilities, we are all very excited! During the next academic year the pupils, staff and community will be involved in a transition project and celebration of the old and new school.
